They're not going to win


I'm not throwing in the towel just yet; however there are signals that don't look good. Agree, Szefc is an outstanding baseball coach and I'm confident you will see him take more of an active role. His assistants are young and haven't been in the ACC before, so the comparison to Marylands success is not justifiable. They can't have that much autonomy yet. Something has to be done because the atmosphere was reminiscent of 3-4 yrs ago.

Team batting averages are plummeting. Today was my third home game and I noticed Coach Jackson only gave a total of 4 signs to his hitters (with hands). We give signs almost every pitch. How can you consistently have an approach when you have to pause each pitch to read 4 point font code? I noticed Fox from UNC gave the same limited signs (although my view was from TV). Heck, Mike Martin has won 2000 games and laughs at the fannie pack. So, it really doesn't matter if you don't mind smoke signals - you're not grabbing a bat.
